My Amazon Short in the top ten

I woke up this morning and found that my Amazon Short, A Hole in the Heart, was ranked #2 for all new releases and #8 for all Shorts. What a surprise! As far as I know, there is a real shortage of faith-based short stories available through the Amazon Shorts program. Could this be a sign that more is wanted and needed. If you haven’t purchased your download yet, go on over to Amazon Shorts and get one. It’s only 49 cents! That’s less than one of those any-size coffees from McDonald’s.

  1. Congrats– That’s got to be exciting!Found you browsing another Christian writer’s blogroll.Random question for you:Do you know any Christian writers in “real-life” (i.e., off-line)?If you do, are they people familiar with what you’re trying to do with your work? (it’s pretty niche, right?)I have a sort of writing group, and my church friends, and there is *no* crossover. Each sees the other part of my life and they just sort-of pat my little blond head and let me be me.Just curious. I can’t really talk with my writing group about trying to make this fit a Christian publisher’s niche, and my Christian friends sort of just raise their eyebrows at the idea of Christian-influenced fantasy.Any ideas?
