Busy with Edits

This post isn’t going to be long. Can’t be. I’m in the middle of working on edits my editor sent me for Scream and want to get them back to her this weekend. That means I have to use all my “spare” time to work on that. Deadlines and all.

I’ll tell you what, though. I’m very excited about this new book. I’m excited about The Hunted, too, don’t get me wrong (and if you haven’t gotten a copy yet . . . what are you waiting for?), but the message in Scream is so strong and so near my heart. I can’t wait for it to hit the shelves. More on Scream and its theme later and I’ll have some cool stuff on my website regarding it too when release time (March 5, 2009) gets closer.

As for how we’re doing without Jen and Laura . . . we’re surviving. I’m surviving. Abby and Caroline are loving their “vacation” over Grammy and Pop Pop’s and playing with their cousins who live next door. Tonight, we’re going home to have a “living room camp out” and watch the opening ceremony of the Olympics.
