Pulling My Leg

I was out late last night at a meeting at church and slept in too late this morning so this is going to be a quick one.

Hey, I have another cliche for you. Do you know where “pulling someone’s leg” came from? You know, “Awww, c’mon. You’re pullin‘ my leg.” It’s very intriguing and morbid.

If you’re just “hanging” around at home tomorrow, pop in and I’ll “break” it to you. Hee, hee.

  1. Kinda danglin’ that cliche in front of us, aren’t ya, Mike? Seriously, I’ve read that during a hanging someone might pull on the legs of the hangee to speed asphyxiation in order to hasten death. Sounds like what the Romans did to the two men crucified next to Jesus.
