Getting Away

Jen and I are going away for a couple days . . . a much-needed get-away. We’re going to do the whole Independence Hall/Christ Church/Liberty Bell/Philly Cheesesteak thing in Philadelphia. Then tomorrow I have a multi-author booksigning in Pottstown. If you live in the Philly area, stop in a say Hi. You can get the details here.

When I agreed to do this signing I knew it would be only a few days after chemo and wasn’t sure how that would go over, let alone trying to enjoy myself in Philly with Jen. But I felt God wanted me to do it and that we needed the time away so I went for it. And lo and behold, God worked out the deatails (I’m not surprised one bit) and I’m not coming off a chemo treatment and feel fine. We serve an awesome God, don’t we?
