The “Peek” Will Have to Wait

Got a phone call from my surgeon’s office late this morning saying he has an emergency to tend to tomorrow morning and my “procedure” will have to be rescheduled. It’s now on the books for 7:30 am April 27.

Thank you for your prayers, I’ll use them as credit for the 27th. Can you do that with prayer? Why not? That’s one of the infinite perks to serving a God who is timeless and eternal.

So I can breathe easy for a couple more weeks. Whew!

  1. It’s like in college — and you show up for a big test — and the professor is a no show. We’ll keep praying.

Just got word from Amazon that my copy of Darlington Woods is estimated to arrive on April 19.

  2. Well, Mike…answered prayer comes in all forms, does it not? Totally understand the anxiety! Doctors had to take a “peek” at hubby’s esophagus last week, and it was nerve wracking to wait and get the news! Praise God everything was well. I will pray that all your tests are perfectly normal too!
