SCREAM Winner Announced!

English: Bratislava; New Year 2005; FireWorks

I want to thank everyone who commented and entered the drawing for this free copy of SCREAM.  I’ve come to a couple conclusions regarding these negative comments about the book.

1) It’s the reader’s responsbility filter what he/she downloads, not the author’s. In this society of ours where personal responsibility is a foreign concept and everyone’s a victim it’s too easy to point the finger at someone else. You’re downloading it; you’re reading it; you do the research.

2) I can’t control what others think or write. I can only do my best to write the stories that are on my heart and pray God uses them to reach the people who need it most.

Thank you for your support.

Now, the winner, randomly drawn, is . . . Kathyrn!

Congratulations, Kathryn, I’ve emailed you separately for your mailing address.

  1. LOVE that you put the responsibility where it belongs: on the reader. If I buy a book and find that it’s badly written or has content that I don’t want to read, it’s not the author’s fault that I don’t like it. It’s mine! I chose to buy it. If a TV show has something I don’t like, I change the channel. Same with a book: close it and move on.

  2. Thank you so much! I am looking so forward to receiving the book. I am so thankful that you put Scream on a free download. I noticed it right in time and downloaded it. I can’t wait to read more of your books. Scream was awesome!!

  3. Congrats Kathryn. Enjoy! Mike I totally agree with your conclusions.
