So I’m turning 39 here in a few days and it’s got me thinking . . . and feeling old. It wasn’t too long ago that one of my daughters asked me what year I was born. “1972,” I said.

Her eyes widened. “Whoa, that was back in the 1900s!”

Hey, the 1900s weren’t that long ago.
